Good Eats is an online store that sells food items in bulk to the public. Here are our terms & conditions – please let us know if you need more information on any of these points.

Agreement of Sale

We only agree to a sale once your payment has been made and it reflects in our accounts. Prior to this point all items remain the property of Good Eats.

Delivery Policy

We are committed to delivering orders placed before 12:00 within 3 business days and orders placed after 12:00 within 4 business days. Please see “Delivery Information” for details regarding our delivery procedures.

The quoted courier rates are for The Courier Guy’s Economy (ECO) rate, i.e. 2-3 days. Free shipping is available for orders over R1500 throughout South Africa, orders over R1000 in the Greater Cape Town area, and orders over R500 in Stellenbosch and Somerset-West.

For all orders that are delivered by courier, we cannot accept any responsibility for the maintenance of a cold chain (if this is relevant for the specific products sold) or any delays that occur once the courier takes receipt of your order. Should this occur, it is not grounds for a return or refund.

Once a person at the provided delivery address signs for the courier delivery (even if that person is not you), we accept that as proof of delivery.

Return and Refunds Policy

To cancel an order, contact us at and we will be able to discuss whether this is possible or not. Unfortunately, once an order has been processed, it can no longer be cancelled. We are under no obligation to do so at this point, and if we are unable to accommodate your cancellation you will be held liable for full payment of your order.

Should you receive a product that is damaged, broken or otherwise spoiled, you must contact us within one business day of receipt of your order. We will then arrange for you to be provided with a replacement item (at our cost) or we will credit your Good Eats wallet with the value of the item.

Should you receive the wrong product you must contact us within one business day of receipt of your order. If we agree (based on your order and packing list) that there was a bona fide mistake on our part we will arrange for you to be provided with the correct item in exchange for the wrong one (at our cost). If we are unable to do so for any reason, we will credit your Good Eats wallet with the value of the item.

We provide all our products with a one week satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with any product you received you may contact us within one week of receipt of your order to provide us with the reason for your dissatisfaction. We will endeavour to resolve your complaint to the best of our ability. You may choose to return the product to us (at your own cost). If the item is in its original, unopened state we will provide you with a replacement or we will credit your Good Eats wallet with the value of the product. If the product has been opened and/or used, we will inspect the product and pass on any concerns/complaints on to our supplier(s). At that point it will be up to the supplier as to how your complaint will be resolved, and Good Eats can unfortunately not be held liable for issuing a replacement or refund.

Payment Options Accepted

We accept payment through multiple portals. These include direct payments by bank transfer (EFT) into the Good Eats bank account, the details of which will be provided during the checkout process; Debit and Credit card payments via Yoco; payments via Snapscan or Zapper; as well as cash on delivery (paying with card upon pick-up or delivery).


Good Eats takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of products advertised on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.


We strive to ensure that all information provided on this website is as accurate and up to date as possible, and that none of the products that we sell cause any harm to our customers or the environment. However, due to the possibility of human and technical error, Good Eats accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of information provided on the website. We have taken every reasonable measure to ensure that the products promoted on this website are of the highest quality and safety. However, since we are not the primary supplier of these products we cannot accept responsibility for any adverse reactions that any of our products may cause for whatever reason. While some of the products on our site are often labelled as “health” or “healthy” products we cannot claim that any of the products or recommendations on this site will have specific health-related benefits. We advise you to always consult with an appropriate professional (medical practitioner or dietician) if you have any doubt as to the use or benefit of our products.

Use of the Website

This site may be used by customers to browse the content and products and to make legitimate purchases. Persons may not use this site for any purposes such as fraudulent or speculative transactions or to copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute any of the images or content available on the site.

Country of Domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Good Eats chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature: PO Box 3114, Matieland, 7602
